Allante, originally from Detroit, Michigan, was greatly admired for his athletic abilities and had a passion for sports that he shared with his friends. Who is Allante Leapheart ?
Before joining Grand Valley State University (GVSU), Allante showcased his skills as a cornerback on the football field at Eastern Kentucky in 2020. He played in all nine games, starting in eight of them. Throughout the season, he demonstrated his defensive prowess with 30 tackles, including two tackles for loss and one sack. He also showcased his ball skills with two interceptions, six pass breakups, and one forced fumble. Notably, he had a season-high six tackles against Houston Baptist on October 3 and made key interceptions against Central Arkansas and Western Carolina.
In 2019, Allante appeared in all 12 games and started as a cornerback in the season finale against Jacksonville State. He recorded 32 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception, and one pass breakup. His impact was felt in various games, including a standout performance against Jacksonville State with nine tackles.
Allante began his football journey at Santa Rosa Junior College in 2018, where he earned all-conference recognition. He showcased his skills in all ten games, accumulating 37 tackles and four interceptions. He even returned an interception for a touchdown in one game. Prior to that, he played at Mendocino College in 2016, where he received all-conference honors and recorded 49 tackles and five interceptions.
Allante’s football talents first shone in high school at Henry Ford High School, where he received numerous accolades, including all-state honors and team MVP recognition.
