Anthony Cipullo of South Weymouth, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2023, at the age of 57. Tony was an exceptional husband, father, brother, son, cousin, uncle, coach, and friend. Fatherhood was at the very core of Tony’s life, and he took immense joy in coaching his children’s sports teams as they grew up, always being there for them.
Who is Anthony Cipullo?
An ardent Boston sports fan, Tony had a deep passion for playing golf, hockey, and biking. He was a dedicated participant in 27 Pan Mass Challenges, and at the time of his passing, he was actively training and fundraising for the upcoming event.
Professionally, Tony served as a Fund Controller and Vice President for GID Investment Advisors, dedicating over 22 years to his work. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tony will always be remembered for his boundless generosity, humility, and sense of humor.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ann H. (Holland) Cipullo, and his loving children Joseph, John, and Mary Cipullo, all of Weymouth. Tony was the son of the late Edward L. Cipullo, Sr., and Joanne F. (Meoli) Cipullo, and stepson of Claudia Cipullo of Weymouth. He was also a cherished brother of Edward L. Cipullo, Jr. and his wife Hilary M. of Brookline. Tony was the son-in-law of Michael and Margaret Holland and brother-in-law of Maureen O’Brien, Michelle Kelly, Michael Holland, John Holland, Paul Holland, Joseph Holland, Elizabeth Lievi, and Brian Holland. Additionally, he is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Anthony Cipullo Obituary and Funeral Service
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects during the Visiting Hours on Tuesday, July 25th, from 4-8 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, located at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opposite So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 9 AM on Wednesday, July 26th, at the funeral home, prior to the Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth. Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
