Benjamin Vallé Cause of Death: Co-Founder and Former Guitarist Passes Away
The music community is mourning the loss of Benjamin Valle, the founding member and ex-guitarist of the renowned Swedish punk band, Viagra Boys. The band shared the heartbreaking news of his passing.
Back in 2015, Benjamin Valle and the other members came together to form Viagra Boys, a punk band originating from Stockholm. However, it is with great sadness that we announce Benjamin Valle’s untimely death at the age of 47.
In a social media statement, Viagra Boys confirmed the sudden and devastating loss of their former guitarist, expressing their deep sorrow and shattered hearts upon hearing the news. They shared a collection of photos as a tribute to the late musician, accompanied by a heartfelt caption dedicated to him.
“While going through pictures of you, I can’t stop crying. But I also find myself laughing because you were one of the funniest, goofiest people I had the pleasure of knowing. Benjamin, or ‘Benis’ as we knew him, spread laughter and happiness wherever he went, and I will cherish the memories we have of touring the world together,” a part of the post read.
The band members expressed their gratitude to Valle, acknowledging that Viagra Boys would not have existed without his significant contributions. They concluded their post by imagining him in space, entertaining aliens with his witty jokes. Band member Sebastian Murphy also shared his own tribute in Swedish, saying, “Rest in peace, my beloved Benjamin. I will love you forever, wonderful man. See you in the cosmos.”
The cause of Benjamin Valle’s death remains unknown, leaving fans speculating about the circumstances leading to his passing after his departure from the band.
Benjamin Valle’s Legacy and Fond Remembrance from Fans
Prior to his involvement with Viagra Boys, Valle played for Nine and released five albums between 1996 and 2007. In 2015, he formed Viagra Boys in Stockholm, and the band went on to release three EPs and two albums, namely “Street Worms” and “Welfare Jazz.”
Their album “Street Worms” garnered significant recognition, earning the Independent Music Companies Association’s Album of the Year Award.
Upon the announcement of Benjamin Valle’s passing on the band’s Instagram page, fans immediately expressed their shock and shared their condolences. One fan wrote, “Love y’all, he’s partying in another nebula now. May his energy live on forever.”
“His riffs play over and over in my head. Your band has changed my perspective on musicians and their capabilities. This is truly heartbreaking,” added another.
Following his departure, Benjamin Valle leaves behind his family and former bandmates. The current active members of Viagra Boys are Sebastian Murphy, Oskar Carls, Henrik Hockert, Tor Sjoden, and Elias Jungqvist. Another member, Martin Ehrencrona, has also parted ways with the group.
