Did Abby Lee Miller Die?
Abby Lee Miller is one of the most recognizable faces in show business. She was the star of Dance Moms for eight seasons and the founder of her own successful dance company, which she still runs today.
However, despite her popularity, Abby has not always had the best track record. In fact, she once fell victim to a not-so-flattering legal case.
In 2014, a former student filed a lawsuit against her for emotional abuse. According to the suit, Miller pinched and abused her students until they bled. She also accused her of making defamatory claims about them and their families, which is something that no teen should have to experience.
Fortunately, that’s all behind her now. In April 2018, she went under surgery to remove a mass that was putting pressure on her spine. It turned out to be a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Burkitt lymphoma.
Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that affects the immune system and is usually treated with chemotherapy, medication, radiation, or, in some cases, stem-cell transplant. It is classified into two categories: Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, with the latter being characterized by the presence of Reed-Sternberg cells.
It’s a very rare type of lymphoma that can cause damage to the jaw, brain, bowel, and spinal fluid. It can also spread to the lymph nodes, lungs, and bones.
But now, four years after she first went under the knife to fight her battle with cancer, Abby Lee Miller is making huge strides towards a full recovery. In a new post on her Instagram, she opens up about the day that changed her life forever.
She says she was in such pain that she couldn’t move her arms, legs or jaw. She later underwent emergency surgery to remove a “slime” from her spinal cord that was causing her severe pain.
After her harrowing ordeal, she had to learn how to walk again, which she’s slowly been doing since May 2018. She even went for a sexy run last month!
In the meantime, Abby’s life has been filled with pain and sadness. She’s also had to deal with a former husband who is serving time in prison for fraud. Todd Chrisley is currently in prison at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, Florida, and is reportedly serving a 12-year sentence for his role in the scam.
When she’s not spending her days battling cancer, Abby Lee Miller is often seen on social media encouraging her fans to be their best selves and make the most of their lives. She has even opened up about her own struggles with weight and diet.
As a result, the former reality star has had to put her health at the forefront of her life. That’s why, when she found out she had to undergo an emergency surgery to treat her cancer, she vowed to never let it keep her down again.
It’s hard to imagine that a young woman would be in this position, but Abby’s story proves that sometimes, the worst thing you can do is follow your dreams. Whether it’s teaching dance or getting sick, there will be times when you have to put your head down and work hard for what you want in life.
