Elizabeth Tiralongo Obituary: Seeking Justice and Honoring a Life Cut Short
Elizabeth Tiralongo, a vibrant 22-year-old with a promising future, tragically lost her life in a devastating fire along with three others, while a fourth individual sustained injuries. As the aftermath unfolded, Tiralongo’s family could not fathom the magnitude of their loss. In their pursuit of justice, they have filed a lawsuit against Magic in the Sky, the company responsible for leasing the property where the incident occurred. Alleging negligence, the lawsuit contends that inadequate safety measures and training endangered the lives of employees.
Ryan Will, the estate’s attorney, expressed the immense grief suffered by Tiralongo’s family, stating, “The family suffered a tremendous loss.” The lawsuit claims that the facility lacked appropriate safety devices and failed to implement necessary safety protocols. Recent graduate of the University of Central Florida, Tiralongo had her whole life ahead of her, eagerly anticipating a fulfilling career.
In addition to the lawsuit against Magic in the Sky, multiple entities, including SeaWorld, face legal action. The lawsuit maintains that these companies failed to establish policies and procedures to safeguard their employees. According to Will, many of the workers at the facility were recruited from the food and beverage or hospitality industry, and they received no training on how to navigate the hazardous environment or protect themselves.

We did not personally know Lissie, but their light shined so brightly that we felt its warmth and enjoyed its glow. I know they had a radiant spirit that touched people instantly as it did with my daughter, Isabel. My heart goes out to all who loves them, especially their precious family. They have touched our family and reminded us to live each day as fully and joyfully as they did. What a beautiful and inspiring life they led.
All our love,
Anna Marie, Noel, and Amelia

Lissie worked with me on my short film and showed absolute dedication to everything they did. They were a true artist and an even better friend. Their smile lit up a room and their sense of humor could bring a laugh even in moments of stress. They are dearly missed.
