Eric Church is a talented country music singer-songwriter. He has earned a reputation for his talent and hard work, and fans are always blown away when he performs live.

But when he performed in his home state of North Carolina last year, Church noticed something was very wrong with his body. The 41-year-old musician began to feel a tingling sensation in his hands as his arena tour came to an end.

The country star then went online to search for a cure, and he soon realized that the tingling was a symptom of a blood clot in his arm. He was told that he had five out of five symptoms, so he decided to drive himself to the hospital immediately.

After getting checked at a hospital in Boone, N.C., Church was told that he needed an ultrasound for his condition. So he drove himself to another hospital 25 minutes away. Upon arriving, the doctors at the hospital told him that he had a blood clot in his chest, and that he needed emergency surgery that day.

Thankfully, Church was extremely lucky to have caught the problem before it became too serious. The clot, which was caused by a birth defect called thoracic outlet syndrome, caused his top rib to get too close to his collarbone, and it started pinching a major vein whenever he raised his arm.

According to a new interview with Rolling Stone, Church has opened up about the terrifying experience that landed him in the hospital for emergency surgery last year. He said he was a “lucky man” to have spotted it in time, and the surgery went smoothly.

He is also thankful for the support he has from his family, who stayed with him during his time in the hospital. His wife Katherine Blasingame was by his side, and they even launched a charity named Chief Cares in 2015 that helps underprivileged children in Tennessee and North Carolina.

The singer was able to successfully undergo emergency surgery, and his clot was removed. He is now recovering well from the experience, and is back on tour as usual.

Church is married to music publisher Katherine Blasingame, and they have two children together – a son named Boone McCoy Church and a daughter named Tennessee Hawkins Church. They have also recently introduced a new line of furniture called “Highway to Home.”

Since that interview, the country superstar has released a song about his recent loss and how it has changed his outlook on life. He has been a vocal supporter of the Second Amendment and is a gun owner himself, but he now believes in the need for more reforms to improve background checks and ban bump stocks.

The country artist has also become a father, and he credits that for changing his perspective on life. He says that he and his wife “have a lot of empathy for others and try to reach out in some way to help other people.” He is a firm believer in the importance of family.
