Errol Spence Car Accident: Welterweight Boxing Star Involved in Serious Crash
Errol Spence Jr, a welterweight boxing star, was involved in a serious car accident on Saturday night. Reports suggest that the collision occurred with a car driven by a 14-year-old who was in possession of their parent’s vehicle. Spence Jr confirmed that he injured his leg in the accident, although the exact extent of his injuries is not yet known.
In an Instagram live video, Spence Jr expressed his frustration, stating that the other driver ran a red light and caused the accident. He also expressed gratitude that his children were not with him in the car at the time. A friend who appeared in the video alongside Spence Jr claimed that the underage driver had stolen their parent’s car, was driving at a high speed, and went through a red light.
This is not the first time that Spence Jr has been involved in a serious car accident. In October 2019, he flipped his Ferrari and ended up in intensive care. At the time, he attributed the accident to suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. He later pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated.
