Finley Conlon Obituary: 7-Year-Old Boy Dies on UTV Crash Lost Mile Road
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Finley Conlon, aged 7, of Pepperell, Mass. He tragically passed away on July 1 as a result of injuries sustained in an incident on Lost Mile Road, near the intersection with Betterly Road.
What Happened to Finley Conlon?
Finley was a beloved passenger in the John Deere Gator, driven by his father, Matthew Conlon, aged 40, also of Pepperell. The Gator was carrying a total of six passengers, including another adult, Bradley Palmer, aged 24, of Natick, Ma., and four children whose names and hometowns have not been disclosed.
According to Vermont State Police, Matthew Conlon lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and resulting in the fatal injuries to young Finley. Another person suffered a broken leg, and additional injuries were sustained by others involved in the accident. Police have stated that impairment is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
