Georgia Kate was riding an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) with her friends on July 23, 2023. The ATV lost control and went off the road, hitting some trees. Georgia Kate was not wearing a helmet and received a severe blow to her head.

Her friends called emergency services and Georgia Kate was airlifted to Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah. There she was admitted to intensive care and underwent surgery to stop the bleeding in her brain.
