It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of her sudden death on July 29th, 2023, in an unimaginable tragedy involving an ATV accident. Halle was accompanied by her boyfriend, Devon Anonson, and two other friends during the accident.
Halle Cole, a beloved and compassionate soul, brought immense joy and love into the lives of her close family and friends, including grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Halle was pursuing her education at Highline College, where she was studying for an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree. Alongside her, a Kent man and three other individuals in their 20s tragically lost their lives in the rollover crash of a Polaris Razor side-by-side ATV near Liberty, approximately 22 miles north of Ellensburg.

What Happened to Halle Cole?
The owner and driver of the ATV, Conner Jenkins, 24, from Orting, along with a friend, Benjamin Gomez Santana, 23, from Covington, were also involved in the incident. Helicopters rushed Jenkins and Anonson to Harborview Medical Center’s burn center in critical condition, but they did not survive the night.
Halle Cole and Gomez Santana died at the scene of the crash. The authorities responded to a 911 report of the accident, and local fire and medic units acted swiftly to treat survivors and contain the gas-fueled fire. No other vehicles were involved in the tragic event.
The open field where the crash occurred is a popular recreational area for campers and ATV enthusiasts. The cause of the crash and fire remains under investigation.
In light of this heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by Chromatique Salon to support Halle Cole’s family with funeral expenses and other related costs. The goal of the campaign is $10,000, and as of now, $4,620 has been raised.
