In Loving Memory: Kyle Holzem Obituary, U.S. Air Force Veteran and Beloved Wisconsin Dells Resident

Kyle Holzem, who passed away at the age of 88, peacefully departed on May 29, 2023, at the Agrace Hospice Care facility in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. He considered Wisconsin Dells his home. During his final moments, loved ones from both of his families were present to provide care and support. Recent medical examinations indicated that he had a condition highly suggestive of malignancy.

On July 26, 1933, in Wausau, Wisconsin, Chris and Amelia (Schneck) Holzem became parents for the first time, welcoming their son into the world and naming him Marvin. On September 11, 1955, a little over a year after his honorable discharge from the Navy, where he had served for four years, he married Marjorie Bousley.

His four years in the Navy were a significant part of his life. Their marriage was blessed with the arrival of six children, whom they raised together as a successful family. Kyle took great pride in his accomplishments as a veteran, including participating in a Badger Honor Flight and serving as the Grand Marshal for the Wo-Zha-Wa Parade. He also served as a member of the Wo-Zha-Wa Parade Committee.

Spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brought him immense happiness. He cherished the moments he could spend with them, and it was a source of great joy in his life. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells, located at 603 Oak Street.

I offer my sincere condolences during this challenging time.
