It’s not the first time that Lea Michele has addressed this issue, as she previously shared her struggles with body image and criticized a Hollywood standard of beauty that encouraged women to change their appearance in order to fit a specific image. In an interview with US television presenter Chelsea Handler, she revealed that she had been told that she should have a nose job by the age of 15.

She said that she had no interest in rhinoplasty and that she wanted to look like herself. Instead, she chose to embrace her features and be who she was, even in the face of criticism from those who didn’t share that view. She credits her parents for instilling in her a confidence that rude comments can’t diminish, and she says she now feels comfortable in her own skin.

Aside from her Glee career, Lea Michele has also starred in Scream Queens and Funny Girl. She recently made her Broadway debut in the latter, and it was a roaring success, with six standing ovations.

Now, rumors are swirling that Michele might have undergone the same cosmetic procedure as Teigen and other stars, thanks to a selfie she posted to her Instagram account.
