If you love General Hospital then you may have noticed the resurgence of the character of Willow Tait. Played by Katelyn MacMullen, she has a long and dramatic history in Port Charles and is currently one of the most prominent characters on the show.

Katelyn MacMullen is not only a talented actress but she also has a knack for playing complex and difficult characters that fans can’t seem to get enough of! This is certainly the case with her portrayal of Willow, and it’s no wonder why she’s been one of the show’s most popular and beloved stars.

She has been a big part of the storyline of GH since she first appeared on the show back in October 2018. So, now that she’s facing her leukemia diagnosis, we have to wonder what her future holds for her on the show.

It’s no secret that Michael Corinthos has a curse on him when it comes to dating. Most of the women he’s been with have met their end at some point or another. This is especially true for Willow who is the latest victim of his plight on GH.

As soon as he realized that he had a serious relationship with her, he immediately started harboring resentment for her. This was especially true after he tried to push her to take her son Wiley off his hands and have Nina Reeves adopt him.

Unfortunately, this didn’t go over well with Willow, and she took it out on her son. As a result, she got sicker and sicker until she eventually needed bone marrow from Nina Reeves.

In recent GH previews, it looks like Willow has a vision of her deceased mother, Harmony. Will she follow the light and find her own mother?

However, spoilers indicate that she will see Nina instead. This makes it sound like she is actually her biological mother!

Now that she has her new found mother, Willow wants to spend time with her. But, as she’s only getting sicker and sicker, it’s unclear if this will be possible for her.

If Willow does decide to donate bone marrow, it will be a long wait. She’s had one match, but the bone marrow didn’t work out. Hopefully, she will find a new bone marrow donor who can give her a chance to live.

The other option for Willow is to find a donor, but that could be very expensive. It’s also unknown if the donor would be able to give her a stem cell transplant.

Until then, she will be stuck in a deathly spiral of illness that will only worsen. It’s up to Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) to support her as she sits in the hospital waiting for her miracle.

She has a lot to deal with, and she needs all the support she can get as she battles her leukemia and the curse that Michael has placed on her.

She tries to stay positive, but she isn’t sure how to proceed. She wants to find a way to save her daughter. But as she’s just been diagnosed with leukemia, she doesn’t have much time to spare!
