In 1988, he graduated from Xavier High School, where he led the school to a state rifle championship. Known for his love for nature and people, John pursued a career path that aligned with his passions.
He started his journey as a dedicated firefighter and EMT in Haddam and Waterford and extended his service to Electric Boat. Eventually, he became a Safety Officer at Eversource. John’s appreciation for nature led him to spend time on his boat with his wife Andrea, engaging in activities like clamming, crabbing, and enjoying the sea breeze. A private Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests considering donations to local fire departments or outdoor clubs in John’s memory.
