In the early hours of Friday, July 28, a fatal motor vehicle accident struck a family, claiming the lives of three siblings, Brenda Pamphile, Jovany Pamphile, and Carl Pamphile. The heartbreaking incident occurred on Interstate 75 south in Clayton County, just before the exit to Interstate 285 westbound. Adding to the tragedy, a fourth victim, a female, has yet to be identified. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families who have lost their loved ones in this unimaginable tragedy.
Clayton County Police Detectives have confirmed the devastating news that the victims were three siblings, aged 21, 18, and 14. The heartache of losing such young lives, bonded by family ties, is unfathomable. The next-of-kin have been notified, and the community comes together to support them during this dark time.
According to initial reports from investigators, the accident occurred due to an automobile carrying four individuals traveling at an excessive speed on the interstate. The collision with another vehicle caused the car to roll over and collide with a tree, subsequently catching fire. Tragically, two passengers were thrown from the vehicle, while the other two lost their lives as a result of the fire. The collision also claimed the life of a beloved dog, adding further sorrow to the already devastating loss.

As authorities continue their investigation, questions linger about the reasons behind the excessive speed of the vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle involved in the collision was taken to a local hospital, and the extent of their injuries is yet to be determined.
In the wake of this heart-wrenching tragedy, the Pamphile family faces immense emotional and financial burdens. Jean Pamphile, in an effort to honor the memory of Brenda, Jovany, and Carl, has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the memorial service and funeral expenses. It is a call for family and friends to lend a helping hand during this difficult time, offering support and solidarity in remembrance of the lives lost.
On the morning of July 28th, 2023 at 4AM my wife and I were awakened by news that no parents should every have to hear. “Ma’am, Sir do you know… Please have a seat.” The words that followed was just heartbreaking, “your kids were involved in a car accident and they did not make it.” The crash caused an explosion that killed our three youngest children, Jovany (14), Brenda (18) and Carl Pamphile (21) and our dog Zoe. PLEASE HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE MEMORIAL OF PAMPHILE FAMILY CHILDREN.
We thank you in advance & God Bless.
