Michael Bordonaro Obituary 2023: A Life Well-Lived
Bordonaro, Michael L. Jr., aged 24, a cherished son and brother, passed away unexpectedly on June 8th, 2023. Michael, who resided in Egg Harbor Township, was born on July 1, 1998, in Somers Point. He graduated from Egg Harbor Township High School in 2016.
Michael was a loyal, hardworking, and fun-loving young man who had an exuberance for life. He had the remarkable ability to form lifelong friendships with nearly everyone he met. His family and friends will deeply miss him. He found joy in spending time at the beach and surfing, but above all, he loved being the life of the party with his loved ones.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Wendy (Shipley) Bordonaro, and his adoring brothers, Kyle and Jason Bordonaro, who looked up to him. He is also survived by his grandmother, Theresa Bordonaro, and his grandparents, Janet (Shipley) and Joseph Hitchens, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extensive extended family of friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Bordonaro and Robert Shipley.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, June 14, 2023, from 6-8 pm, and again on Thursday morning, June 15, 2023, from 10-11:30 am at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood, NJ, followed by a memorial service beginning at 11:30 am.
