Priyanka Chopra Before Botched Surgery – What Happened ?
The Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, 32, is one of the most successful and daring actresses in the world. She is known for her outspoken personality and her uncanny ability to dominate the screen. She is also a global icon and has been lauded for her beauty, confidence, and sense of style.
She began her career in Bollywood as a model and has gone on to become one of the most sought-after actors on the planet. She has received multiple awards for her work, including a Padma Shri and is listed among Forbes’s 100 Most Powerful Women in the World.
In her recently released memoir, Unfinished, Priyanka revealed that she suffered from an early career setback following a botched nose surgery. Shortly after winning the Miss World 2000 pageant, she went to a doctor for a “lingering head cold” and was found to have a polyp. The doctor advised her to have the polyp removed, and she opted for a surgical procedure.
But the doctor accidentally shaved the bridge of her nose, which caused it to collapse. Fortunately, the surgeon was able to repair the damage. However, the resulting cosmetic issue nearly cost her her career.
As a result, she was dropped from three films. During her appearance on Howard Stern’s show, Priyanka told fans that she slipped into “deep depression” and believed her acting career was over before it started.
She was hesitant to have her face plasticized again, but her father, Ashok Chopra, and Bollywood director Anil Sharma encouraged her to get the corrective surgery. In addition, she said her husband Nick Jonas and his brother Joe, who is also an actor, supported her.
After a decade of denying that she had undergone any kind of cosmetic surgery, Priyanka has finally opened up about her past mistakes in a new book. Her autobiography reveals that she once was dropped from film projects due to a botched nose surgery.
During her appearance on The Howard Stern Show this week, she shared the story of how she was fired from three movies after the surgery. She described the incident as a “dark phase” of her life, according to Page Six.
Her botched surgery left her looking significantly different, and it was a major blow to her mental health. She also said that it had a negative effect on her livelihood.
As a result, she went on to get several corrective procedures over the years. She has since regained her confidence in her appearance.
She went on to star in the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan, which starred Vijay. She says that her experience on the sets of Thamizhan helped her rebuild her self-confidence, as she was not allowed to talk about her plastic surgery.
Priyanka Chopra is now starring in the Hollywood film Love Again, which premiered in New York on Wednesday with co-star Sam Heughan. She is also working on her next Bollywood project, Jee Le Zaraa, with Farhan Akhtar.
Priyanka Chopra is not the only Indian actress to undergo plastic surgery. Many actors from the B-Town have gotten rid of their wrinkles, plumped up their cheeks and sculpted their lips to increase their beauty. Priyanka is no exception to this trend and has gone for Rhinoplasty, Cheeks implant, fuller cupid bow lips to improve her look.
