I am in shock. I just got the news and I simply refuse to believe it. We were roomates for couple of years and friends for more than twenty years. When we were living in Vancouver, I used to talked to him almost everyday. He was genuinely a kind and affectionate human being who deeply cared about his friends and anybody associated with him. His great intelligence was the envy of every body who knew him.
