Steve Wilburn Obituary, Benton Illinois: Steve Wilburn Passes Away in Traffic Collision

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Steve Wilburn in a tragic traffic collision. Our beloved Aunt Starla, along with the entire family, is devastated by the loss of her husband, who was not only her life partner but also her closest confidant and best friend. The profound impact of this loss extends to their children, who now face the void left by the absence of their loving father, as well as their grandchildren, who will forever miss their cherished papa.

Steve Wilburn played various roles within our family, embodying the qualities of a kind and caring uncle, brother-in-law, son, son-in-law, brother, and so much more. His absence leaves an immeasurable void in our lives, and we will forever hold his memory in a special place within our hearts.

In light of these difficult circumstances, our family has organized a GoFundMe campaign to provide support during this challenging period. We humbly request your assistance in sharing this campaign and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.

Services will be held on Saturday June 17, 2023 in the Union Funeral Home-West Frankfort at 11:00am with Rev. Chris Hammonds officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be held on Friday June 16, 2023 at the funeral from 5:00-8:00pm.
