The Mystery Unveiled: Urokodaki Face Reveal – Exploring the Enigmatic Persona
While his past is a mystery, Urokodaki has a strong presence in the Demon Slayer Corps. He has trained Giyu Tomioka, Tanjiro Kamado, Sabito and Makomo. He is also the principal cultivator of Water Breathing.
During the Final Selection, Urokodaki gifted his students a fox-themed warding mask that’s branded with a protection spell. He wore it because of his affinity for the Kitsune myth, which refers to fearsome warriors that guard mountainous areas.
Sakonji’s face
Sakonji Urokodaki is a retired member of the Demon Slayer Corps who previously served as the Water Hashira. He is also the main cultivator of the Water Breathing technique, having trained swordsmen such as Giyu Tomioka and Tanjiro Kamado. He is a mysterious character that has never been shown with his face exposed throughout the entire manga series, leaving fans to wonder why he keeps his mask on.
Though at first glance, Sakonji appears to be a grumpy old man, he is actually very caring and passionate. He pushes his students hard during their training, but he also loves them and sees them as family. This was evident when he hugged Tanjiro after he returned from the Final Selection.
He also has a heightened sense of smell, which allows him to detect the ‘line of interval’, where a demon’s movement pauses for an attack. This is important because it can help a swordsman figure out how many humans the demon has consumed and if they are vulnerable.
Tanjiro’s face
After surviving the Spider Family, Tanjiro faced his most formidable foe to date in Rui. The former Water Hashira fought hard to defeat him and even managed to use his Hinokami Kagura on the demon. During this arc, fans also discovered that Tanjiro is capable of Sun Breathing.
Fans are noticing that Kotetsu has a very handsome face. They compared him to Keisuke Baji from Tokyo Revengers, who is known for his good looks and determined personality. Many fans are impressed with Kotetsu’s determination while polishing Tanjiro’s sword.
Fans are wondering what Kotetsu’s face really looks like under his boar mask. It seems that mangaka Koyoharu Gotouge wants to keep this a secret, but some fans are convinced that he is not doing so for any reason other than that he is a pretty man.
Hotaru’s face
As a Nichirin swordsmith, Hotaru is dedicated to forging and polishing the weapons for the Demon Slayers. Despite the fact that she was given her position in the Corps through the Final Selection, she does not care for anything else besides the swords she creates. Hence, it’s only natural that she shows little interest in the people around her.
However, when Upper Rank Five Gyokko attacked Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, he managed to trap the swordsmith in a shed and see that he is in deep concentration with his work. Thus, the demon tries to break his focus by attacking him multiple times.
However, Haganezuka continues his work and does not let the attack get to him. He even manages to unmask himself despite the slashes that he receives from the demon. Thus, fans were able to finally see his handsome face. This is definitely a moment to remember in the history of Demon Slayer.
Nezuko’s face
While she’s still a demon, Nezuko has shown that her humanity remains intact. She’s seen to cry when she’s sad and smile when happy, proving that she can display human emotions. She also has a strong will, which is demonstrated when she refuses to consume human blood.
While most of Urokodaki’s students haven’t survived the Final Selection arc, the swordsmith gifted his former students with Kitsune masks to protect them. Sabito and Makomo are two of his cherished students who wore the masks and survived.
While her face isn’t revealed in the anime, it’s been speculated that she will have a similar look to Haganezuka, as well as firey pink hair and a bamboo muzzle given to her by Giyu Tomioka. She wears a light pink kimono with an asanoha pattern and a paler pink lining, secured by a red and white hanhaba obi and orange obijime. She’s also adorned with a white onbuhimo cloth around her neck and a black bow at her chest.
