Unraveling the Lin Sue Cooney Divorce: Exploring the Factors Behind the Split
For more than 30 years, viewers have seen Lin Sue Cooney anchor the news on 12 News/KPNX. She earned nine Rocky Mountain Emmy awards during her career, and has also received recognition for her work on “Buddy Check 12” and “Hero Central.” In addition to reporting breaking stories, she’s been a consistent presence in the community, hosting fundraising events for many area schools and organizations, as well as participating in a number of charity walks for breast cancer awareness.
After more than three rewarding decades in broadcast news, Cooney recently joined the leadership team at non-profit Hospice of the Valley as their director of community engagement overseeing business and fund development, volunteers and marketing services. She is passionate about dispelling myths and educating the public that hospice care is so much more than end-of-life care.
A woman of strong faith and deep love for her family, Cooney credits her mother with teaching her the value of giving back to the community. Outside of work, she and her husband are busy raising their four children to be compassionate and caring. They volunteer on behalf of a variety of Valley charities supporting pediatric care, women’s shelters, the homeless, food banks and pet rescue. In addition, they firmly believe that family comes first and make it a point to spend time together every day.
